P8 sees itself as a productivity incubator, and a place where artists could receive funds and to explore the future of sustainable life. P8's aim is to unite artists from all over the world and let them experience the artistic ritual. It is very helpful to understand different cultures and art environments from all over the world, and the operation of the art market, as well as make good relationship with other artists. It’s also like a kind of ritual for the artists——to move to a remote studios or isolated huts, stay in a strange art space or large museums for weeks or months or even years. New places give birth to new possibilities.
Artists can find inspiration in this residence which is made out of 70% of wetlands and 30% of manufactoring areas, thus becoming an interesting place to observe these two contrasts.
